Zelig compulsively imitates anyone he meets and becomes a celebrity while psychiatrists attempt to treat him. Witty and pleasingly authentic faux-documentary that touches on subjects such as conformity, celebrity and how we transpose our own views on others; as well as Woody’s usual pre-occupations. Perhaps his most deceptively thoughtful movie.
