Buster parodies Griffith’s Intolerance by telling romantic tales in prehistoric, Roman and modern times, where he fights for a women against a stronger suitor. Essentially 3 shorts mixed together, and as such lacks the ambition of his later works. But it has great moments; the chariot race is wonderful.
