The man who discovered Everest pioneer George Mallory’s body returns to see whether Mallory could’ve made it to the top. Splendid photography, but too much melodrama and sound-bite dialogue. Besides overlooking Mallory’s early career, the point of the documentary turns out to be quite tenuous. More of a TV affair.
