Passion Joan Arc 50 word film review

Joan is put on trial by the French religious elders for her blasphemous beliefs. An intimate drama with minimal sets that’s fixated on faces. Tearful Falconetti is in middle, a picture of vulnerability, innocence, faith, maybe madness; a powerful performance in a film about faith that’s quite unlike anything else.
