A wily Scots boat captain cons an America into contracting him to deliver antique furniture to his island home. An oddly misjudged film in which the antagonist is more sympathetic than the protagonist. Limited characterisation means the supposedly charming captain just seems like a selfish incompetent arse. Features nice scenary.
