The Haunted Strangler
May 19th 2010 22:36
(1958) Boris Karloff, Jean Kent, Elizabeth Allan, Anthony Dawson. Dir: Robert Day.
A novelist is convinced that a man hung for a series of stranglings was innocent, but discovers a darker truth. A slow starter with a big plot twist, which doesn’t make sense, and a number of plot holes. It’s all very silly, but it’s watchable and Karloff pulling a face is surprisingly scary.
