A case of mistaken identity gets a lazy hippy tangled up in the kidnapping of a millionaire’s trophy wife. A witty riff on classic film noirs, with the ultimate reluctant hero and a convoluted go-nowhere plot. Far from just directorial indulgence, it’s a hilarious parody with a wonderful ensemble of eccentrics.
