Kirk and crew take their first trip on the Enterprise and face a time-travelling warmonger. Places whizzes and bangs over any moral dimension, yet successfully reminds you why you cared about these characters in the first place. There’s some shaky dialogue and Bana makes no impact, but it’s very exciting.
