After arresting a gangsters brother, a sheriff awaits trouble with a cripple and his alcoholic ex-deputy for company. A western that takes it time, but is gently paced, rather than boring. Martin is the surprise highlight as the drunk trying to regain his dignity. Well constructed, solid, scenic entertainment.
