A rookie detective becomes a surfer to flush out a gang of bank robbers. Films don’t get dumber than this - Reeves and Busey are rubbish cops, and Swayze’s not cool or enigmatic. There’s every cop cliché, an unbelievably ludicrous chase, and some impressive action sequences. A genuine guilty pleasure.
