More Reincarnated than the Buddha

No offense to any Buddhists out there...
The Normality Factor began as a vague wisp of an idea back in the late Eighties (or maybe early Nineties?) that manifested as a xeroxed comic book. Then, it was the title of a spoken word weekly rant. It found its home on the internet in 1999 as a column written for ShutUpAndDance.Com before moving to its own domain in 2000.
After that, though, the NormFac fell on hard times. It lost its drive, its purpose. It started hanging out with the wrong crowd, smokin' out, drinkin' cheap wine... eventually, it lost its cramped rented room on the wrong side of town and ended up living in a cardboard box with another indigent concept, often waking up with strange feelings and missing organs.
One day, a girl with bad hair and a torn-up jacket happened past with a button that said, "Change Comes From Within - My Couch". The NormFac realized it no longer had a couch and therefore had to make change come from somewhere else.
It got up, dusted itself off, and conned its way into new living quarters. It squatted there for quite sometime and finally started masquerading in drag as the online home of a knitter with questionable habits.
This is the underground moonlighting attempt of the NormFac to regain its street cred. Or, if you find it before then, please forward it on.
