A teenager discovers that his neighbour is a vampire. Likeable remake that’s reminiscent of the Buffy series (they share a writer); good suspense in the homebound scenes, but runs out of steam when it goes further afield. Characters miss so many opportunities to off Farell (who’s excellent) it becomes irritating.
