Dracula’s Daughter
February 28th 2011 21:00
(1936) Gloria Holden, Otto Kruger, Marguerite Dawson, Edward Van Sloan. Dir: Lambert Hillyer.
With Dracula dead, his daughter believes she might finally be cured of her bloodlust, but can she ever be free. While the many dialogue scenes flow much better than the original, it’s still noticeably stage-bound and low on drama and horror. Mostly of note for a touch of lesbian lust.
