The Daleks have invaded earth, destroyed London, and dug a hole in Bedfordshire. Still a mixed bag. Technicolor designs and wartime London impress, but not plain Bedford, or the rubbish robo-men. Action direction is spotty and comedy mis-placed. Main cast dull, but support, much better – they’re closest to the original story.
