Cave of Forgotten Dreams
July 5th 2011 19:32
(2010) Dir: Werner Herzog.
For the first time cameras enter the Chauvet Caves, were the oldest known cave paintings are perfectly preserved. A fascinating look into mankind’s past – the paintings are incredible, and the scientific discoveries (images drawn over 5000 years!) are staggering. Herzog’s philosophising can be odd, but his subject his undeniably awe-inspiring.
