A petty bureaucrat literally meets the girl of his dreams, but she’s wanted by the state for information retrieval. A stunningly imaginative 1984 style movie, but with laughs. The casting is clever, the art direction dazzling, the pace gripping and the ending heart-wrenching. One of the best of the 80s.
