A timid and inhibited girl begins to crack under the pressure of playing a dual role in Swan Lake. Who knew ballet could be so frightening? A cross between The Red Shoes and Repulsion; it’s staggeringly beautiful in places and nerve-shattering in others. Who knew Portman had it in her?
