Giant leeches drag unsuspecting villagers from the river to their lair. I suppose the idea of being dragged to an underwater cave and being slowly drained of blood is scary. Unfortunately divers in rubber sacks aren’t. The Postman Rings Twice sub-plot isn’t really engrossing either. It’s a Roger Corman classic.
