A spaceship crashes on earth containing an egg which quickly grows into a rampaging creature. A King Kong rip-off with Rome instead of NYC, leading to a decent chase through the coliseum. Harryhausen’s monster has a good stalking action, but no personality, and the characters are just stereotypes. Fun though.
